Meet Dr. Palumbo
Dr. Joseph Palumbo received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook before earning his dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 1997.
After completing an advanced education in General Dentistry from Lutheran Medical Center in (Brooklyn NY.), Dr. Palumbo and Dr. Yousuf formed East Lyme Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in 2000.
Dr. Palumbo holds a fellowship certification in Dental Implants from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and advanced training in Cosmetic Dentistry and Smile Makeovers from the Rosenthal Institute of Aesthetic Dentistry in New York City.
Dr. Palumbo’s other affiliations include Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT), Cerec Doctors Assoc., American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS), the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped (NFDH).
Dr. Palumbo enjoys being a comprehensive care dentist where he can use his wide range of clinical skills to help patients achieve the smile they have always wanted. It is his personal commitment to treat patients on an individual caring basis with patient comfort and satisfaction as his ultimate goal.
Dr. Palumbo resides in Old Saybrook with his wife and two sons.
