Effective Dental Implants

If you have missing or extracted teeth you need to replace, then dental implants represent a permanent solution that is more appealing than alternatives like bridges because no other teeth need to be altered during the process.

The process of having the replacement teeth implanted occurs during the course of a few months. The first part of this process involves placing the screw that acts as the implant into the jaw bone. The implants (which can be done more than one at a time) are inserted through an incision in the gums, which are sutured after the implants are placed.

Restore Missing Teeth to Your Smile

During the 3-6 month healing process, your jaw bone will form around the implant(s) through a process called osseointegration. During this healing process, you can have temporary crowns installed. This will allow you to eat and speak normally while maintaining the aesthetic appearance of your smile.

After the healing process, we will place an abutment on the implant, which will serve as the base for your new tooth. We will then take an impression of the abutment to create your permanent restoration. You will have a smile that looks the way it used to, and it will feel like a natural tooth after a short period of time getting used to it. Call us to schedule an appointment to discuss the implant options.
